About Me
Greetings C-1 Students and Families!
I am beyond excited to be joining Tassajara Hills Elementary this year and being your 1st grade teacher. I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you and building a relationship to ensure each student’s success. Allow me to give you a brief introduction of myself...
I grew up in Orange County and relocated to northern California to attend UC Santa Cruz where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I received my Multiple Subject teaching credential from CSU, Monterey Bay. In 2017, I continued my education by earning a Master's Degree in Applied School Leadership and an Administrative Credential. Prior to joining Tassajara Hills, I taught for ten years in Monterey County as well as two years at Live Oak Elementary, in San Ramon. My teaching experience includes the 1st, 4th and 5th grade-levels.
Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my friends, nieces and family. I enjoy playing golf and softball, watching live sporting events, running 5K's, cheering on the Oakland A’s, hiking and exploring new areas. I enjoy traveling and the next destination on my bucket list is Australia.
Here’s to an amazing 2020-2021 school year!
